Amazing $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Represents a Online Gaming Game Master's Fantasy
Following a brief run back in April, this cartography software collection is back with an encore that lasts until Dec. 2. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by a specialized software company over the years, the entire collection is valued at over $1,300. And there are three different bundles available here.
The Main Attraction
The big draw is definitely permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard mapping application that can be used to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, tactical combat environments.
An imaginative landscape chart generated in the CC3+ software platform.
Bundle Tiers
Basic Package
The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.
Mid-Range Option
The eight-product collection starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from the company's long-running monthly subscription service featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages suitable for novices and experts, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.
Complete Collection
For a minimum of $30, the 39-item bundle contains these components:
- Fractal Terrains 3+

All 17 volumes of Cartographer's Annual come with this bundle, plus numerous other resource and asset packs enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, dungeons, cities, and continents in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection is so worth it, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously more advantageous for cartography beginners considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to help you get started. The one caveat here is that while the purchase is available on any platform, the software is only usable with Windows systems.
Philanthropic Aspect
As with other Humble Bundles, part of every purchase goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, the beneficiary is Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally through education, health care, and emergency relief. Package customization options is toward the top of the page, though users may also choose their donation amount in the right-hand section. Additionally available is an donation allocation menu immediately below, enabling adjustment of how much of your donation allocated between the platform, developer, and charity.
